Ventilators (ERVs)
EcoFresh ERVs help designers, engineers, consultants, building owners
meet Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) standard and save energy.
The Ecofresh ERV exchanges stale, contaminated room air with fresh outdoor
air, in the process also recovering upto 80% of the energy from the exhaust air. The
energy recovered is used to precondition [precool/preheat] the supply air, thereby
reducing the energy needed to condition fresh air.
This makes it possible to bring in more conditioned fresh air at lower cost.
Installing the Ecofresh ERV thus helps to reduce capital/operating cost of airconditioning
equipment in new as well as existing buildings. The energy recovery is achieved when the
enthalph/energy recovery rotor slowly rotates between the counter flowing exhaust and
supply air streams absorbing the sensible as well as the latent engergy from the cooler
air stream and transferring it to the warmer air stream.

Selectivity:
EcoFresh rotors, the heart of th e Ecofresh ERV, has a special grade low pore size zeolite
desiccant of proprietary mix the "Ecosorb", Ecosorb eliminates carryover
of bacteria and airborne contaminants, i.e. selective adsorption.
Ecosorb allows only
water molecules to pass through it and rejecting all other pollutants. Thus, the
contaminants remain in the exhaust.
